Lizz Ortolani is a licensed independent insurance agent specializing in benefits planning for individuals, sole proprietors, contract workers, retirees, people on Medicare, and small businesses. She is licensed in New York State for Life, Accident and Health insurance, and holds AHIP (Medicare) and NYS Marketplace certifications.
Ortolani Services, Inc. was founded following a fifteen-year career providing care as a Licensed Master Social Worker. An important part of that work involved connecting people with services and resources. Now Lizz carries on that work by connecting people with the health and life insurance choices that will best serve them, their families, and their employees.
Lizz is valued for her skills in clarifying health insurance needs and beloved by her clients for her unique understanding of their lives and health demands. She brings to every client relationship cultural competency and sensitivity as well as a trusted referral network built over 20 years working in different facets of the Rochester healthcare community.
Lizz maintains a license as a Licensed Master Social Worker and completed SafeZone Training. She is active in the community and spends her spare time practicing yoga, reading, and cheering her son on in soccer and basketball. Lizz also volunteers at Yoga 4 A Good Hood and the National Association of Benefit and Insurance Professionals (NABIP).

Erin Nagle is a licensed independent health insurance broker specializing in benefits planning for small businesses, individuals, sole proprietors, contract workers, retirees, and people on Medicare. She is licensed in New York State for Life, Accident and Health insurance, and holds AHIP (Medicare) and NYSOH (NYS Marketplace) certifications.
Erin elected to concentrate her MBA in Human Resources and has spent the entirety of her career in Rochester, NY, working with local brokerage companies and as an HR Generalist specializing in group benefits.
Her knowledge of benefit administration, regulations, and compliance provides clients with unparalleled guidance in navigating the complicated options of health insurance and other benefits for individuals as well as groups. Erin’s expertise is complimented by the strong relationships she has built with both insurance carriers and clients.
Erin loves spending time with her clients to really learning their needs, helping them navigate their options and ensuring a smooth transition and informed healthcare decision annually.

Anwar Pickett, LAH, AHIP
Individual Insurance Specialist
Anwar Pickett is a licensed independent health insurance agent for Ortolani Services, Inc. specializing in individuals and families, sole proprietors, contract workers, and gig or non-traditional job workers, retirees, and folks on or approaching Medicare eligibility. He is licensed in New York State for Life, Accident and Health insurance and holds the appropriate NYSOH (NYS Marketplace) & AHIP (Medicare) certifications.
Anwar adds value to Ortolani Services, Inc. by providing support and a wealth of experience as being a former agent with a local health insurance provider, a former agent of Property and Casualty insurance for a national carrier, as well as working with several local non-profits. Anwar seeks to further the Ortolani principles of Clarity, Choice, Connection with every new client he meets.
Anwar is a recipient of the SafeZone training as part of Ortolani Services’ focus on providing sensitive, inclusive service to people of all needs and identities.
Engrained in a life of service, Anwar has been active in local youth sports since returning to Rochester in 2007. In that time, he has been either president, coach, or volunteer with such organizations as Eastside Little League, Genesee Valley Little League, Rush Henrietta Athletic Association, and the Henrietta Parks & Recreation Dept.
Nancy Rader, LAH, AHIP
Director of Operations,
Nancy Rader comes to us with 30+ years of benefits and Human Resource experience, mostly for local brokers and private firms. She is licensed in New York State for Life, Accident and Health (LAH) insurance, and holds AHIP (Medicare) and NYS of Health certificates.
Nancy’s excited to utilize her experience to help lead strategic operations behind the scenes at Ortolani Services. Her knowledge of benefit administration, regulations, and compliance provides us with unparalleled guidance in navigating the complicated options of health insurance and other benefits for individuals as well as groups. Nancy’s expertise is complimented by the strong relationships she has built with both insurance carriers, clients, and her employees.
In her time off Nancy enjoys gardening, collecting antiques, and her big dog.
Emma Salamone, LAH, AHIP
Client Relations Manager
Emma Salamone is a licensed independent health insurance agent specializing in individuals, families, and Medicare. She is licensed in New York State for Life, Accident, and Health insurance, and holds AHIP (Medicare) and NYSOH (NYS Marketplace) Certifications.
Emma comes with Medicare experience working for a national insurance brokerage assisting individuals with Medicare Advantage, Supplemental, and prescription drug policies. Before working in insurance, Emma worked for a durable medical equipment provider and as a pharmacy technician. Emma’s professional experience supplements her knowledge of how Medicare works, the rules and compliance requirements. Which in turn, enhances her ability to support our agents and clients.
In addition to working at Ortolani Services, Inc. Emma has been involved in youth and high school cheerleading for the Fairport School District since 2017. As a Fairport alum, she prides herself in this role to influence skill building and development in both youth and young adults.

Camilla Carvalho, LAH, AHIP
Client Relations Associate
Camilla brings a unique blend of skills and experiences to the team. She recently completed her musical studies with a bachelor’s degree from the Eastman School of Music and is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at the Florida Institute of Technology. Camilla’s academic pursuits reflect her commitment to continuous growth. As a member of the Ortolani Services team, Camilla maintains a Life, Accident and Health Insurance License, AHIP Certification for Medicare and certification in the NYS Marketplace. In addition to English, she is fluent in Portuguese.
Outside of the office, Camilla is a freelance classical musician performing with renowned orchestras such as The Albany Symphony, Binghamton Philharmonic and many other orchestras in Upstate New York. Camilla is a welcome addition to the Ortolani Services team, bringing a positive attitude of teamwork and organization to the office.
